Robert Huntington Fletcher (1885 - 1972)


Robert Huntington Fletcher was born in 1885 in Britain. He wrote several books, including A History of English, and Kenelm Chillingly: His Adventures and Opinions, but he is best known for The Arthurian Materials in the Chronicles: Especially Those of Great Britain and France, a critical study of the legend of King Arthur and his kingdom of Camelot that was published by Ginn & Company in Boston in 1906. A second printing was done in 1966. Fletcher died in 1972.
